Louis A. Reisman has been with the firm for over 34 years, specializing in the fields of estate planning, business and corporate law and retirement plans. He has published several articles on pension plan subjects, and for more than twenty-five years taught courses at UCLA Extension on Pension and Other Retirement Plans, Personal Financial Planning, Retaining Family Wealth, and Income Tax Saving Strategies. In addition, he frequently lectures on income tax and estate planning topics before numerous professional groups, such as the USC Tax Institute, the USC Probate and Trust Conference, the California Society of CPA's, the American Association of Attorney-CPA's and medical professional organizations. Mr. Reisman also holds a Certified Public Accountant Certificate and is a former member of the tax department of an international public accounting firm. He was honored as a "Super Lawyer" in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 by Law and Politics, published by Los Angeles Magazine. He is a member of the California and Illinois Bars, Taxation sections of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He received his law degree from Northwestern University.
