Robert Strauss Quoted in The Wirecutter

Rob Strauss was quoted as an expert in The Wirecutter’s¬†“Dear Wirecutter” segment, in which readers can submit questions about topics ranging from technology products to personal finance. In the segment,¬†The Wirecutter¬†took a question from a reader about whether or not it is possible to transfer credit card reward points from a decedent’s credit card account prior to the account being closed. According to Rob, credit card reward points can be given to a named beneficiary as specified in a Will (or Trust) like any other assets. The credit card company should be contacted by the Executor/Trustee to request that the reward points be transferred to the rightful beneficiary.
