Sussan H. Shore joined the firm in 1980. She is certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law. Her practice includes the design and implementation of multi-generational estate planning strategies for high net worth families. These strategies accomplish estate tax reduction, liability and creditor protection, charitable planning and life insurance planning. Ms. Shore also specializes in the administration of estates and trusts, representing both fiduciaries and beneficiaries, and court supervised conservatorships.

Ms. Shore has been listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" in the area of Trusts and Estates for over ten years. She has also been selected by her peers for inclusion in "Southern California Super Lawyers" since 2004 by Super Lawyers®, as published in Los Angeles Magazine. Additionally, she is listed as one of the "Top 50 Women Southern California Super Lawyers" as well as the "Top 100 Southern California Super Lawyers" by Super Lawyers®.

Ms. Shore has been teaching a course in Estate Planning for UCLA Extension for more than thirty years. She is the co-author of "Outright Noncharitable Gifts" in California Will Drafting, Third Edition (California Continuing Education of the Bar). She is also the co-author of "Minimizing the Impact of the Ballooning QTIP" for the 2001 USC Institute on Federal Taxation. She is the past Chairperson of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trust & Estates Section and she has served as Chairwoman of the Probate, Trust & Estate Planning Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

Ms. Shore frequently speaks on various probate and estate planning subjects for various professional groups throughout the country, including USC Probate and Trust Conference, the California Society of CPA's Estate Planning Conference and the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, and the USC Tax Institute. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the USC Probate & Trust Conference.

Ms. Shore received her undergraduate degree from UCLA and is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law.
